THE CHICKEN AND THE EGG

This problem, THE CHICKEN & THE EGG seldom leaves a 'good taste' in the mouths of Creationists(those who believe that some Superior Entity or Being created everything and especially the Chicken and the Egg) and Evolutionists, who believe that NATURAL SELECTION led to eggs and chickens. Is there a solution to this question that irks so many? WHICH CAME FIRST; THE CHICKEN OR THE EGG?
